The Student Dormitory Residents Council is one of the bodies of the Student Government. This body is elected for a 2-year term of office and consists of three students residing in a given dormitory.

The rights of the Resident Council resulting from the Regulations of a resident of a student house of the Wrocław University of Technology and the Rules of living in dormitories of the Wrocław University of Technology:
- If the student does not accept the arrangements made by the head of the dormitory regarding the deduction from the deposit, the damages are determined by a commission composed of the head of the dormitory and a student representative delegated by the Resident Council. The committee shall prepare the protocol in writing.
- The value of the damage, in accordance with the valuation, and the method of its repair are determined by the head of the dormitory, after consulting the Residents Council.
- The degree of responsibility of individual students for damage caused to the property of the dormitory is determined by the head of the dormitory after getting acquainted with the opinion of the Residents Council.
- In justified cases, the head of the dormitory in the presence of a representative of the Council of Residents or another resident of the dormitory, and if unavailable — another employee of the Dormitory Department, has the right to inspect the room (module) in the absence of residents. He/She should immediately notify the interested parties of this fact.
- Permission to organize a private event only for the residents of the dormitory, during the curfew, is given by the head of the dormitory in consultation with the Residents' Council.
- The managers of the dormitories, in consultation with the Resident Council, submit to the Department of Social Aid for Students and PhD Students and the Department of Student Dormitories by May 31, a list of people who should not continue living in the student dormitory due to improper conditions.
- The rules of booking for the upcoming academic year are determined by the head of the dormitory in consultation with the Resident Council by June 15 and communicated to the Head of the Student Dormitories Department, the Head of the Social Assistance Department for Students and Doctoral Students and the Head of the Local Teaching Center.
- The check-out referred to in sec. 3 is performed by a commission appointed by the head of the dormitory. The commission, apart from the head of the dormitory as chairman, includes a representative of the student council, and in the absence of such a representative — another employee of the Dormitory Department.
